Please contact management to assist with clarifying guaranteed satisfaction service. With satisfied owners and loved pets, you can rely on us to care for your doggie's oral hygiene and grooming services.
NOTE: Staff at Doggie Care Services are not veterinarians. More specifically, we do not diagnose any diseases, examine, treat, or offer to treat any disease. More over, we do not cure or attempt to cure any disorder or illness. Services offered at Doggie Care Services should be considered complementary and an extension of care in the grooming process, and overall care.

Your dog’s SAFETY and COMFORT are very important to us! Your dog comfortably lies supported on our doggie bed with their heads supported in our lap. We might swaddle your small doggie in a blanket or towel to make them feel more secure and safe. We always give your dog plenty of belly rubs and always talk to your beloved doggie for reassurance, and to assist them to remain calm and feel safe under our care. Before we begin our teeth cleaning, we will check the mouth for any obvious oral problems, tooth mobility, visibly apparent gum recession, breaks/chips, bleeding/swollen gums, tissue injuries or signs of infection. To remove any plaque or tartar build up, we hand scale your doggie’s teeth with manual dental instruments on the inside and outside surface of your doggies’ teeth. When we done scaling, we polish your doggie’s teeth with prophy polish. When you are back to pick up your beloved doggie, we will go over any visual observation during the teeth cleaning and the overall recommendation. Ask us about our loyalty discount for your next appointment.
Our approach is holistic and preventative. Our service is an alternative to possible complications arisen by having to put your doggie under sedation. We provide affordable hygienic service to keep your dog’s mouth cleaner. If during our teeth cleaning service, we observe any visible abnormalities, we will refer doggies back to their veterinarian. Please note that we are NOT veterinarians hence, we cannot provide any type of treatment or diagnoses. When done properly, teeth cleaning done under Anesthesia from a veterinarian does a lot more than Anesthesia-Free teeth cleaning. Not only do veterinarians clean teeth in detail but, they can diagnose and treat diseases, and infections and can clean into deep pockets. These are all services that Doggie Care Services does NOT provide. Add an answer to this item.
Statistics show that majority of dogs are helped by having teeth cleaning every 4-6 months. You would not want to put your beloved doggie under anesthesia this often.

PUPPY TEETH INTRODUCTION – This service is for puppies under 1 year of age. It includes mouth desensitization by lots of gentle mouth touching, tooth brushing and lots of cuddling of course. During our service, we scale any visible plaque that might have formed. Most importantly our puppy intro service is meant to introduce our overall service to your doggie, so that they start feeling comfortable and get accustomed to teeth cleaning.
PLEASE NOTE: If your doggie’s teeth cannot be cleaned in an hour due to anxiety or age we will break the appointment up for NO ADDITIONAL FEE.
Doggie Care Services provides a first-class service scaling the outside surface of your doggie’s teeth. Services at Doggie Care Service are considered hygienic and not a medical procedure. We can help your doggie maintain a clean mouth, but if there are already issues with infection or disease, we are not able to treat or diagnose anything and may not be able to help you reverse those issues. Canine teeth cleaning needs to be approached holistically and preventative. When it comes to preventative oral care there is not a single method completely effective in the long term. That is why we go to our dentist or hygienist on a regular basis and depend on our daily brushing at home for healthy oral care.
At Doggie Care Services, we skillfully use our “doggie-whispering” skills to establish trust and use gentle relaxation techniques to calm your doggie. We gently hold and lay down the doggies on our laps during their teeth cleaning, which allows your doggie to feel safe and comfortable. On rare occasions some doggies have even fall asleep during their teeth cleaning.

During your doggie’s appointment we will visually inspect your doggie’s mouth for any obvious problems and make a recommendation. If we see anything out of the ordinary, we will recommend that your doggie be seen by a veterinarian. If we find any problems that we didn’t see right away during the appointment, we will either call you or put the information on your report card so you can discuss any further action with your doggie’s own veterinarian.
Doggie Care Services does NOT clean under your doggie’s gum line nor clean out deep gum recession. We do however clean along and around the gum line. Since gums are pliable, we can slightly move gums to remove plaque and tartar that might have accumulated along the gum line.
Please note if for some reason we cannot do the cleaning on your doggie, we will not charge you. Doggies with known oral health issues are also referred to their own veterinarian for treatment. The following are some reasons for not doing teeth cleaning: 1) If your doggie is aggressive or has a history of having bitten someone.
2) If your doggie is too stressed or will not stay calm.
3) Your doggie has missing, broken, chipped teeth.
4) Your dogie’s teeth are too rotten or in very poor condition.
5) If there is visible recession or gum disease.
Please reach us at vancouverdoggiecare@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your questions.
Doggie Care Services gently hand scales off plaque and tartar just like human being’s experience when they go to their dentist or their dental hygienist. Your doggie will NOT experience any pain!
